Inter Milan have been linked with Pablo Zabaleta again amid reports he could be an alternative target to Man Utd's Matteo Darmian.
The 31-year-old defender has been on Inter's radar for about a year and their need for a right-back has been highlighted again recently with reported talks over Darmian under way.
Zabaleta is in the last year of his City contract and could have left the club last summer, before deciding to stay.
Inter are not the only Serie A club interested in the former Espanyol man with Roma reportedly having agreed personal terms with him in July before his change of heart.
Inter legend and vice president Javier Zanetti, who was an Argentina international teammate for several years, could be influential in Zabaleta's choice.
