Jose Mourinho won't try again to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, senior Manchester United insiders have stated.
The Old Trafford giants had three bids turned down in the summer and recent reports in Italy have hinted the Red Devils could be back again next year, with the 28-year-old Croatia international still said to have his heart set on making the move.
The £50m-rated Perisic has since signed a new deal until 2022 with Inter, although it has emerged the player was able to deny the Italians' request to insert a new buy-out figure.
United, however, are said to have moved on and feel they are well covered with Marcus Rashford, Antony Martial and Juan Mata all able to work effectively from out wide.
Mourinho had Perisic scouted extensively last season but refused to be held to ransom by his former club.
The United boss still has access to big money if he asks for it during the January transfer money, but seemingly it won't now go towards finally nabbing Perisic.
