Le Parisien are reporting that there is growing unease at the Parc des Princes that Edouard, who is currently in Chile with the France Under-17 squad, could follow in the footsteps of Kingsley Coman and leave on a free transfer.
Liverpool sent a scout to France to watch Edouard in action for PSG in the Uefa Youth League against Malmo, according to the report, and other sources in Chile claim the Anfield club have sent three scouts to the Fifa World U17 Cup, where he will perform for France.
The youngster's agent has demanded a meeting with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi after failing to agree new terms with assistant general manager Olivier Letang on three separate occasions.
Edouard, who cites his favourite ever player as Brazil's Ronaldo, is yet to make the first-team breakthrough in Paris and appears wary of wasting years in the club's reserve team.
He told Fifa.com: "There are many who have signed professional terms and that have integrated the first team. I have not done yet, but I'm still young, I'm patient. It will happen."
