AC Milan are reported to be targeting a move for Michy Batshuayi, who has so far failed to make an impression at Chelsea.
The Belgium international only joined Chelsea from Marseille in a deal totalling £33million in the summer, but he has hardly figured in Antonio Conte's plans.
It has even been suggested that the striker was signed against the wishes of Conte, who has preferred to select the in-form Diego Costa so far this season.
A return to Marseille on loan has been suggested but now reports claim that Milan are keen to do a deal and want to take him on a permanent basis in January.
Conte is likely to sanction a deal if they can recoup their outlay, then use the money to sign his top target, Spanish international Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid.
