Everton frontman Oumar Niasse was delighted to net his seventh goal of the season against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
The 27-year-old has had a patchy Everton career to date, spending most of last season on loan at Hull, but his goal against the Eagles on Saturday was his seventh in 15 appearances this season.
He will now be hoping he can keep his place in the side for the next Premier League outing against Watford on February 24.
“It is always important to score as a striker,” Niasse told the club's website. 'I had played two games in a row and not had that luck – especially against Leicester.
“But against Palace, I had a great opportunity to score in the second half and it was great to do it in front of our fans.
“If you miss a chance, you have to keep going, playing your game, and doing everything to help the team.'
