James McCarthy and Leighton Baines are both set to miss out again as Everton prepare to host Swansea City on Monday night.
McCarthy (hamstring) and Baines (calf) remain unavailable, along with the likes of Ross Barkley (hamstring), Ramiro Funes Mori (knee) and Seamus Coleman (broken leg).
However Yannick Bolasie could make his return to Everton's matchday squad for Monday's clash at Goodison Park.
The winger has been out of action for just over a year due to a knee injury, but boss Sam Allardyce indicated at his pre-match press conference he could be involved against the Swans after appearing for the Under-23s this week.
Meanwhile Allardyce believes his defence is looking stronger of late and hopes they can build on recent performances when they host the Swans.
He said: "We look like we're defensively sound now and now it's about expanding on that.
"We have to be more expansive - not lose that defensive solidarity - but be more creative and more accomplished because in the games down the line, we'll have to break down teams or we'll have to play the big boys and try and get results."
