Manchester City have confirmed that Spanish winger Nolito has agreed to join Sevilla on a three-year contract.
The Premier League club brought Nolito in for £13.8million last summer from Celta Vigo but he failed to become a regular under Pep Guardiola.
Nolito was restricted to just 19 league outings and he revealed at the end of last season that he was keen to return to his homeland.
A deal between the two clubs, understood to be in the region of £8million, was agreed on Saturday and the winger underwent a medical on Sunday afternoon.
The 30-year-old has signed a three-year contract with and will be looking to help Eduardo Berizzo’s squad build on last season’s fourth-place finish in La Liga.
City confirmed the news on their official website: “Manchester City have reached an agreement with Sevilla over the permanent transfer of Nolito.
“Everyone at City would like to wish Nolito well with his move.”
