Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is set to see a specialist after suffering an injury against Newcastle on Sunday.
The Ivory Coast international has undoubtedly been Palace’s key player this season but they may have to do without him for up to a month.
Zaha suffered a knee injury at the start of the season and the Eagles struggled to pick up results in his absence, however his return coincided with them climbing out of the bottom three.
The winger is understood to have sustained up his latest injury in the first half of the 1-1 draw with Newcastle but opted to continue playing for the rest of the game.
The 25-year-old was sent for a scan on Monday and is set to see a specialist on Tuesday to learn the full extent of the issue.
Palace are almost certain to be without Zaha for Saturday’s trip to Everton while they also face Tottenham and Manchester United over the next four weeks.
