Experienced coach Hikmet Karaman, who has been in charge of Rizespor since 2014, claims Palace have been watching the 22-year-old for some time and could make an offer for him soon.

Speaking to Fotomac, the 57-year-old said: "Both president Steve Parish and Roy Hodgson have long been telling me about Ozan and have seen him in many games, including national team games. They will prepare an offer for Fenerbahce."

Tufan has scored two goals in seven league matches for the Yellow Canaries this season and has been a regular for the Turkish national side.

He is under contract until June 2020 and is thought to be worth in excess of £10million.
