Manchester United have reportedly agreed a £30m fee for Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and there is confidence that he will make the move.
Reports that the Chilean superstar could make the move to Old Trafford are gathering pace after he was left out of Arsenal's squad for the Premier League match against Bournemouth on Sunday.
United seem prepared to pay almost £10million in agents fees to get the deal done ahead of cross-city rivals Manchester City, who were thought to be the player's choice if he moved on a free transfer next summer.
The Red Devils are understood to have offered Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the deal, reducing the price to £10million if the Armenian agrees personal terms with the Gunners.
But if Mkhitaryan rejects the move to London, United will stump up £30millioin in cash and make Sanchez their highest earner on reported wages of £350,000 a week.
United are understood to be confident of landing Sanchez before a self-imposed deadline of Friday.
