Manchester United are being linked with a swoop for Serbia midfielder Mijat Gacinovic after Jose Mourinho watched him in action.
United boss Jose Mourinho was in attendance for Serbia's 3-2 World Cup qualifying defeat to Austria on Friday and reports claim that Eintracht Frankfurt wonderkid Gacinovic was the player under the microscope.
The 22-year-old has earned rave reviews with his performances in the Bundesliga, so much so Bayern Munich could also offer him the chance to stay in Germany.
But it is United who are said to be leading the race for the youngster after Mourinho missed out on the signing of Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic and Real Madrid's Gareth Bale in the summer.
Gacinovic also plays out wide and it would appear Mourinho is keeping a close eye on him ahead of the transfer window re-opening in January, with a view to making a bid.
