Kevin Brown has been named in an unchanged England team to take on Tonga in the World Cup semi-finals on Saturday.
The Warrington Wolves half-back will need to prove his fitness before kick-off after being knocked out during last weekend's win over Papua New Guinea.
Brown was withdrawn at half-time during the 36-6 victory after taking two bangs to the head and he will now undergo a series of tests before the clash at Auckland's Mount Smart Stadium.
Gareth Widdop would move into the halves if Brown fails to pass precautionary checks, with St Helens' Jonny Lomax ready to return to full-back.
Lomax and prop Scott Taylor have replaced George Williams and Stefan Ratchford on the reserve list but boss Wayne Bennett could still change his squad up to 24 hours before the game.
