Castleford Tigers outside back James Clare says he has fully recovered from his anterior cruciate ligament injury blow.
Clare was restricted to just six Super League outings last season for Leigh after suffering the injury in pre-season.
The 26-year-old secured a switch to Cas in the off-season and is delighted to have rejoined his hometown club, and Clare insists his injury problems are behind him.
“It’s the most dreaded injury for any sports player. It is not necessarily the most painful, but it takes around nine months to fully heal and get back from. That’s why everybody hates it and fears it the most," he told the Pontefract & Castleford Express. “I managed to get back and play the last few games with Leigh and everything was perfect, I’ve not had any problems since.”
