Brian McDermott's side, who managed to overcome Castleford Tigers in the 2017 Grand Final at Old Trafford in October, will make the trip to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on February 1, while Hull FC will host Hudderfield Giants on the same day.

Shaun Wane's Wigan Warriors side, who endured a 2017 campaign to forget with no silverware to show for their efforts, make the trip to the Salford Red Devils on February 2.

Also on the Friday, St Helens welcome the League Leaders' Shield holders Castleford to the Totally Wicked Stadium, while Hull KR have their first game back in Super League at home to Wakefield Trinity.

The first round of Super League fixtures wraps up on Sunday when Widnes Vikings and Catalans Dragons go head-to-head.
