Wales winger Alex Cuthbert has confirmed he has signed a new contract with the Cardiff Blues after being linked with an exit.
The 26-year-old had been linked with moves to Worcester or Leinster but he has decided to stay put at the Blues.
He turned down a National Dual Contract in January but Cuthbert has now put pen to paper while he recovers from a knee injury.
Cuthbert, who has scored 15 tries in 42 appearances for Wales, will not play again this season but he admits he is delighted to have extended his deal.
"I've really enjoyed the environment and culture this season at Cardiff Blues under [head coach] Danny Wilson, and the direction we are all now heading in," Cuthbert said.
"The players have really bought into the style of rugby we're looking to produce, and that has been reflected in the results over the last six months.
"I am pleased to sign a new contract at Cardiff Blues, and I am looking forward to getting back to full fitness and the start of next season."
