Wigan Warriors star Liam Farrell believes England have been given a real boost with the return of Sam Burgess to rugby league.
Burgess decided to try his hand at the 15-man form of the game with Bath and impressed enough to earn himself a place in the England 2015 World Cup squad.
However ,the 27-year-old decided to make a return to rugby league with NRL outfit South Sydney Rabbitohs soon after the Red Rose's disastrous World Cup campaign and has now earned a recall to the England squad ahead of the Four Nations.
Farrell, who helped Wigan win the Super League Grand Final this season, believes the return of Burgess to the England side is a massive boost as they prepare to face Australia, New Zealand and Scotland.
He told BBC Sport: "You can't not miss a player of Sam's calibre, rugby league is where he belongs.
"To play rugby union and put pressure on himself, is something I admire but he's one of the best in the world and it's great to have him back."
