Hull FC's recent signing Josh Griffin insists he is eager to get going with his new club after recently penning a three-year deal.
The 26-year-old agreed to make the switch from Super League rivals Salford Red Devils at the end of the 2016 season.
The centre, who finished the campaign as the highest points-scorer for the AJ Bell Stadium outfit, is hoping he can carry on performing strongly with his new club.
Griffin believes he is joining a team moving in the right direction and insists there is no better atmosphere in the league than at the KCOM Stadium.
"Hopefully I'll add what we’ve already got here," Griffin said. "I like to play tough and with a bit of skill and see if I can add that to the team. We've got a great backline here already and the forwards are tremendous.
"They’ve not finished where they are for no reason, they are a great team and hopefully I can add a little bit to it. There's no better atmosphere than playing here.
"We came to look at the derby a couple of months ago and it was outstanding."
