The Scotland fly-half was instrumental in the victory in Wales on Saturday, as he scored two tries on his way to contributing 21 points to the success.

With Glasgow now in third place in the table, two wins from their last two games against Zebre and Connacht would see them book a home semi-final.

The Warriors are now on an eight-game winning streak and Russell hopes they can secure a last-four clash at Scotstoun.

He said: "It's definitely the goal of ours to get a home semi-final.

"If we play like we did today, keep building on the momentum that we've got, we'll hopefully get it."
