Prop Harry Williams says he's not concerned by Exeter Chiefs' disappointing start to the season and he's sure results will pick up.
Exeter have lost three of their opening five matches but Williams says coach Rob Baxter and his assistants are doing all they can behind the scenes to ensure there will be more wins on the board soon.
The Chiefs were narrowly beaten by a Harry Mallinder kick at Northampton Saints last weekend and take on West County rivals Gloucester at Kingsholm on Saturday, with Williams admitting the derby clash would be the perfect occasion for them to return to winning ways.
"The coaches are going over everything with a fine-toothed comb and there are areas we can improve upon and fine-tune - stuff that might not be immediately obvious when watching as a spectator," he said.
"We've got Gloucester next up and in derby games all bets are off; it doesn’t matter what comes before or after, it's about how you perform on that day.
"We’ll have a good ding-dong battle, and there is a bit of extra pressure on us being at home, but everyone is excited and ready to crack on this Saturday."
