Saints defender Jack Stephens has been included in the England Under-21 squad to face Kazakhstan and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Stephens, 22, has three Under-21 caps to his name and joins club-mates Nathan Redmond, Matt Targett and James Ward-Prowse in the squad.
England's U21s travel to Kazakhstan on Thursday and host Bosnia & Herzegovina on Tuesday and Stephens will be keen to be involved.
Meanwhile, Saints midfielder Jake Hesketh is looking forward to Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy trip to Colchester.
The 20-year-old has featured for the first team in cup competitions this season and is expected to be involved when the U23s travel to Colchester.
"They’ll [Colchester] probably be quite a physical team who are direct. They're experienced players so that’s something we’ll have to deal with," he told the club's official website.
"The competition has had mixed reviews but we've always looked forward to it as it's a different challenge to playing people your own age."
