Luke Shaw is back in training following a recent fever and is eyeing Manchester United's next Premier League game against Liverpool.
The Old Trafford left-back has missed the last four games with a groin injury and last week picked up a mystery bug.
The Red Devils immediately sent him home to ensure they minimised the risk of infection.
Sources at United's Carrington training HQ have told SiaS that Shaw has received the all-clear and is showing no ill-effects.
The £28m defender is back running and the medics are confident his groin issue is also behind him.
It has been a difficult start to the season for Shaw, who was singled out for criticism by boss Jose Mourinho in the wake of the recent defeat to Watford.
Shaw is determined to prove he can get his fitness back up to the optimum level following a year out with a broken leg.
And despite the huge intensity of a visit to Anfield on October 17, the former Southampton graduate is confident another week of first-team training will put him firmly in contention.
