British number one Johanna Konta is through to the China Open semi-finals after a 6-4 6-0 victory over Zhang Shuai.
The 25-year-old recovered from falling 4-0 down in the first set to claim the next 12 games and defeat world number 36 Zhang for the second in a week after also beating her at the Wuhan Open.
American eighth seed Madison Keys is Konta's opponent in the semi-finals, where the Briton will be desperate for another win as she looks to qualify for the season-ending WTA finals in Singapore later this month.
The event, which starts on October 23, sees the top eight players in the world play-off and Konta currently sits in 10th place on the list ahead of next week's Hong Kong Open.
Ukrainian 16th seed Elina Svitolina is also through to the semi-final stage in China and will face either Agnieszka Radwanska or Yaroslava Shvedova in her last-four clash.
