Sloane Stephens says she has no intention of making changes to her style of play after landing the US Open title.
Stephens picked up a maiden major crown on home soil in New York with a dominant 6-3 6-0 victory over compatriot Madison Keys last weekend.
The 24-year-old world number 17 has, at times, been criticised for being too aggressive and taking too many unnecessary risks, which often result in unforced errors.
However, Stephens says she feels comfortable with her approach to the game and says the fact she is now a Grand Slam champion proves she does not need to make any major changes to her style.
"I think my game is OK. I think I don't need to change anything," she said, as reported by Tennis World USA.
"If I can play the way I play and win a Grand Slam, I don't think there needs to be any discussion about it. I think it's good, and it works, so I'm going to keep doing the same thing."
