Elina Svitolina says she is hoping to find a better level of consistency after breaking into the top 10 last season.
The Ukrainian broke into the top 10 for the first time in her career last term after beating Caroline Wozniacki in the final of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
Svitolina also enjoyed her best ever run at the Grand Slam events in 2017 and she heads back to the Dubai event later this month sitting third in the world rankings.
With a maiden Grand Slam crown in her sights Svitolina has stressed the importance of playing at a consistent level.
Svitolina said: “To have consistency in my game is what I’m looking for and to have this throughout the season is my main goal. Other goals are to stay healthy and play the best level I can all the time.”
