Yaya Toure will land a major windfall at the end of this season should Pep Guardiola bring success to Man City, sources have told Sias.
The midfielder has featured in just one game under Guardiola this term and will remain out in the cold until his agent Dimitri Seluk issues an apology for speaking out against the club one too many times.
Toure is currently being hit hard in the pocket and missing out on substantial win bonuses and appearances fees.
It's understood, however, the 33-year-old's £230,000 a week contract is also heavily weighted against the club's ability to pick up silverware and qualifying for the Champions League.
The Citizens have moved to a Barcelona-type bonus structure in recent seasons to keep their huge wage bill within acceptable parameters.
But that means Toure will still strike it rich should Pep be successful in his first season at the Etihad, regardless, of whether he plays again for City.
Toure recently announced his retirement from playing for the Ivory Coast and Seluk has made it abundantly clear his client won't be moving anywhere before next summer - and no wonder.
