West Ham forward Diafra Sakho could be on the move in January and Napoli have been linked with Simone Zaza.
Sakho is currently sidelined but is closing in on a return to fitness and co-chairman David Gold took to Twitter on Sunday night to reveal the striker is "two or three weeks" away from a comeback, meaning reports he could face Crystal Palace this weekend appear wide of the mark.
The forward is believed to have submitted a transfer request during the summer in order to attempt to force through a move to West Brom but a deal failed to materialise.
It has now been claimed West Ham could be open to offers for Sakho when the transfer window reopens, depending on his form and attitude on his return from injury.
Zaza, meanwhile, joined in the summer on a loan deal from Juventus with a view to a permanent move.
However, the Italy international has struggled to make a mark in England and it has been suggested West Ham will not activate their option to sign the forward outright but he could be handed a route back to Serie A.
Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik faces a spell on the sidelines due to injury and the Italian outfit have apparently placed Zaza on their list of potential replacements.
