Manchester United are sweating over the fitness of midfielder Nemanja Matic for Saturday’s trip to Arsenal.
The summer signing has been a consistent performer for the Red Devils but he limped out of Tuesday’s 4-2 victory with Watford.
Jose Mourinho revealed Matic has suffered a “muscular” problem and he will be assessed ahead of the late kick-off at the Emirates.
Fellow midfielder Marouane Fellaini will miss out as he continues to struggle with a knee problem, while skipper Michael Carrick has been building his fitness after having a cardiac ablation to deal with an irregular heart rhythm.
Defensive pair Phil Jones and Eric Bailly have missed the last four matches with thigh and groin injuries respectively and they aren't expected back until later this month.
