Watford are reportedly lining up a summer move for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
The Croatia international joined the Italian outfit in 2015 from Dinamo Zagreb and has been a regular first-team fixture ever since, making 88 Serie A appearances, scoring 12 goals.
Several teams across Europe are said to be showing an interest in the midfielder although it is claimed Watford, now managed by Javi Gracia, are leading the race for his signature.
The Hornets, who are involved in a huge relegation scrap this season, are eager to add to their squad in the summer and the 25-year-old has been identified as the top target.
It is also claimed Brozovic could be a direct replacement for Abdoulaye Doucoure as reports continue to link the latter with a move to either Arsenal or Tottenham.
Watford have slapped a £25million price-tag on Doucoure's head and, with the Inter star said to cost around £16m, this would represent good business for the English outfit.
