Bill Murray is set to star in Apple's first-ever film.
The acclaimed actor is reuniting with director Sofia Coppola to make 'On the Rocks' for the technology giant's first original feature film.
The announcement comes ahead of Apple's much-anticipated foray into the streaming market, which has intensified over recent years.
Bill and Sofia previously worked together on the hit film 'Lost in Translation', which also starred a young Scarlett Johansson.
And their long-awaited reunion is sure to spark lots of excitement among movie fans.
'On the Rocks' will see Bill star alongside Rashida Jones as the popular Hollywood duo team up to tell the story of a young mother who reconnects with her playboy father.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, Apple revealed its sales have been slowing, saying economic problems in China were behind the trend.
Chief executive Tim Cook explained to investors: "While we anticipated some challenges in key emerging markets, we did not foresee the magnitude of the economic deceleration, particularly in Greater China."
Apple's definition of the Greater China region include Hong Kong and Taiwan, which account for a significant proportion of its business.
