Bing has banned any adverts for cryptocurrencies.
The web search engine has followed in its competitor Google's footsteps by imposing a ban on anything promoting the digital currency following fears of scams.
In a blog post, Melissa Alsoszatai-Petheo, advertising policy manager, explained: "We are always evaluating our policies to ensure a safe and engaging experience for our Bing users and the digital advertising ecosystem.
"Because cryptocurrency and related products are not regulated, we have found them to present a possible elevated risk to our users with the potential for bad actors to participate in predatory behaviours, or otherwise scam consumers."
The ban will come into play in July.
