Samsung has announced the Galaxy S10 5G smartphone will be released on June 7.
The Sim-free phone, one of the first to offer 5G, will be available on EE and Vodafone and pre-orders are being taken from as soon as May 22.
It makes sense that the S10 5G is released on the two networks first, as it was recently announced that Vodafone is set to become the first carrier to bring the high-speed internet data service to the UK cites; Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and London.
The initial roll-out will be on July 3rd.
By the end of the year, they are planning to launch 5G in Birkenhead, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Guildford, Newbury, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Reading, Southampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Warrington and Wolverhampton; a total of 19 cities.
Plus 5G roaming will be available to use in Germany, Italy, and Spain.
EE will also launch the service this summer, whilst Three and O2 are working to roll-out 5G later this year.
