Holidaymakers can now plan their vacations at ease as the app which merges together the Explore, Flights and Hotel services is going to be accessible on PCs as well as mobile.

The firm's product manager Vice President, Richard Holden, revealed on the Google Keyword blog: "That's why today, we're simplifying the way we help travellers plan trips with Google across devices. When you're planning a trip - whether you're on desktop or mobile - we want to help you find the information you need, fast."

The service was first rolled out on smartphones in February and now all of the users' travel information will be stored under Trips rather than them having various notes.

All information such as flights and places they are visiting will be in the same place and synched on all devices managed by their Google Account.

Richard continued: "As we continue to evolve Trips, we're making this information more accessible at google.com/travel, and in Google Search and Google Maps. We're also adding a few new features to make planning and organising your trips easier."
