Microsoft Word will soon have an AI editor.
The new feature will see people's grammar and style improved by the work of an AI called 'Ideas', which works by processing natural language to make the text more concise.
Ideas recommends rewriting certain phrases to improve their clarity, whilst offering up synonyms and alternative phrasing and explains the suggested changes in a bid to cut down time spent proofreading.
The features are similar to the app Grammarly.
Office 365 customers will be able to try out Ideas in Word this June and the service will be officially launched in autumn.
