A cat waiter meows and serves customers.
The BellaBot, developed by Chinese company PuduTech, was unveiled at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, and is able to transport up to 10kg of orders.
The robot can also react to human contact, with a scratch behind the ear and a pat on the head, getting a purr.
PuduTech explained: "BellaBot shows you a lovely face in the screen when you touch its ear.
"But if you keep doing so, it gets mad to remind you not to interrupt its job."
The firm already has standard food delivery bots working at 2,000 restaurants and is aiming for the Chinese market with the cat version.
