The mobile phone giants are following in the footsteps of providers such as O2 and Three in offering their loyal customers rewards for staying with the company, as they've now launched the all new VeryMe service.

VeryMe offers similar deals to O2's Priority and Three's Wuntu, including two Odeon cinema tickets for £7, a free drink from Costa, 15% off Interflora, a three-month trial of The Mindfulness App, and free treats from Millies Cookies, Tesco, and Hotel Chocolat.

As a special introductory offer, VeryMe will give Vodafone's monthly customers an extra 2GB of data when they sign up.

According to Gizmodo, there's even an AI built into the VeryMe process, which learns what rewards you like and tries to make sure you never miss out on any of the good ones.

VeryMe is built into the My Vodafone app so current members don't have to download a separate app to utilise it, whilst those who don't already have the My Vodafone app can download it for free from Google Play and the iOS app store.

It comes after Vodafone was recently banned from advertising its broadband service, after it came under fire for misleading customers over speeds and reductions in bills.

Vodafone has said it's disappointed with the Advertising Standards Authority's (ASA) decision - which was encouraged when it received complaints from customers and rivals such as BT - and believes it "misunderstood" the offer.

A spokesperson for Vodafone told the BBC that the guarantee "is still unmatched in the market as no other major brand offers a promise like this across their entire range, nor do they apply discounts directly to customers' bills if they don't deliver".
