Group Ski Holiday Accommodation

Whether you are skiing for a week, or a weekend – we believe that self-catering accommodation represents the best value for money group accommodation option across the Alps. Three & Four Star Self Catering Accommodation is available, and all of this accommodation provides a comfortable, clean and spacious environment for you to enjoy your trip. The price of the accommodation is divided by the number of people in your party, so this accommodation can be incredibly affordable.

As an added bonus, you don’t have to worry about missing any meal times – or rushing back to get fed at a chalet. This is your trip, on your timescales.

As with everything in life, the more you buy – the cheaper things become. Speak to us about booking your group ski pass and ski hire before you arrive at the resort. We have built up great relationships with those who run the ski area, and ski rental shops, so have exclusive pricing and discounts we can pass directly onto you.

At Get me to the Alps, we believe Val Thorens is one of (if not, the) best ski resort in the world and recommend Val Thorens as a ‘Lads’ resort – every time.

As well as being the highest ski resort in Europe, offering fantastic skiing across the season – Val Thorens is also part to the massive three valleys ski area. Excellent ski lifts shuttle skiers onto the mountain from the resort, and ski in/ski out accommodation is widely available. There’s an excellent mix of fresh powder and finely groomed ski runs, which cater for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

Val Thorens is also one of the best resorts for Après Ski and nightlife. Up the mountain, there is the la Folie Douce, where the party starts around midday every day, and holds the title of the highest open air club in Europe. La Folie Douce provides excellent, food, drink, tunes and cabaret. Further down in the resort there’s Le Saloon Bar, which provides the perfect place for a refreshment on your way down the mountain, and then there’s also the Frog & Roast Beef pub, an excellent example of French meets British. Later on, head to the Malaysia Cellar Bar for live music, until the early hours.

One of the most popular areas for lads short ski breaks is Andorra (Pas de la Casa) and Bulgaria (Bankso and Borovets) All of which are excellent resorts for both skiing and nightlife, making them the ideal location for a boys ski trip. These resorts also offer incredible value for money, so if budget is tight – three and four star accommodation is available at a fraction of the price of what it would cost in the Alps.

It’s normal for everybody to want something slightly different from their holiday, but we thought it would be well worth making known what our perfect day on the slopes looks like. This would start with a hearty breakfast around 9am, before heading straight to the lifts for about 9.30. Two hours skiing would follow, before a thirst quenching beer and a spot of lunch. Another couple of hours on the slopes, followed by another ice cold beer, then onto the après ski for a dance around, before soaking that alcohol up with something simple like a pizza, and then hitting the hay nice and early about 10pm, ready to go for another day.

In our experience, group ski holidays usually land on one person to organise. This person then has to run around collecting and chasing deposits, making sure that the accommodation suits everybody’s needs, finding flights at reasonable times and prices, as well as organising airport transfers. It’s a lot to take on.

It’s much easier, and much cheaper to hand it over to the team here at Get me to the Alps. We deal with ski holidays and trips exclusively, so you can be assured you are getting the best value ski holiday – organised by people with inside knowledge of resorts and accommodation.
