Alex Jones has been nicknamed "Bambi" by her 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner.
I really want to make James proud of me.
The 'One Show' presenter - who is paired with James Jordan in the celebrity dance contest - explained the professional mover has already been mocking her for her Welsh accent, but she is keen to make him proud by succeeding in the competition.
Alex said: "James is already taking the mickey out of me - claiming he can't understand my Welsh accent, laughing at me trying to count and even labelling me Bambi. Good start!
"I really want to make James proud of me."
However, the 34-year-old beauty - whose 'The One Show' co-host Matt Baker participated in the series last year - admitted she is "absolutely petrified" about performing in front of the nation, and is even having "sleepless nights".
She added to Radio Times magazine: "I'm absolutely petrified about what the next three months has in store.
"I'm dreading the first live show - I can't begin to tell you how nervous I was on the launch show, but at least the 14 of us were dancing together. Dancing live in front of the nation is already giving me sleepless nights."
