'Loose Women' taught Andrea McLean to be more outspoken.
God knows how many marriages we've chalked up between us and none of us is perfect. That's what makes us an interesting mix.
The 41-year-old star is widely known as the "sweet" member of the tough-talking panel of women on the ITV1 show but Andrea believes being around the others - including Denise Welch, Sherrie Hewson and newcomers Carol Vorderman and Sally Lindsay - has toughened her up.
She explained: "The girls on the show taught me that disagreeing isn't the end of the world.
"I've realised you can have a spat or an argument - and we do - but at the end of the day, everything is fine, nothing has changed, because all you have is an opinion, so it doesn't really matter. It doesn't change anything. We love each other."
The 'Loose Women' panellists are well known for their interesting private lives with numerous marriages, divorces and love dramas between them but Andrea - who is happily married with two children - believes that makes them more interesting.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I love the show and everyone has changed so much from day one. We've all really lived and been through some tough times together and apart.
"God knows how many marriages we've chalked up between us and none of us is perfect. That's what makes us an interesting mix."
