The celebrity 'Dancing On Ice' contestants have been announced - but 11 out of the 12 have been injured before the show has even started.The line-up was revealed yesterday (07.01.08) and former Page 3 model Linda Lusardi tops the casualty list with a broken foot.She is followed by singer Samantha Mumba, who has a torn knee ligament, Olympic javelin star Steve Backley, who is suffering from pains, and former Hear'Say star Suzanne Shaw and her twisted knee.Ex-tennis ace Greg Rusedski is suffering from an old knee injury and TV presenter Tim Vincent has a bruised groin, while cleaning guru Aggie MacKenzie has to wear a knee support after some hard falls.'Pop Idol' runner-up Gareth Gates
, Prince Harry's friend Natalie Pinkham, 'GMTV' reporter Michael Underwood and childrens' TV star Sarah Greene are all covered in cuts and bruises as a result of their vigorous training.The only celebrity not to be suffering is 'Hollyoaks' actor Chris Fountain, who played troubled teen Justin Burton and is favourite to win as he used to play ice hockey.The show sees the 12 celebrities each paired with a professional ice skater and are given a series of routines and elements to learn.
The couple's are overseen by 1984 Olympic champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, who will give guidance and advice to everyone.
