Bosses of 'The Only Way Is Essex' have found the perfect replacement for Mark Wright.

Show chiefs have drafted in 12 new characters to replace the 25-year-old hunk - as well as Amy Childs and Kirk Norcross and axed Harry Derbridge and Maria Fowler - and claim newcomer Ricky Rayment will be "twice the lothario" womaniser Mark was, The Sun newspaper reports.

I know I'm not the best-looking lad but if I had Joey's looks with my chat, I'd be unstoppable.

Nicknamed 'The Captain' by his mates, the 21-year-old is said to be "hoping to eclipse" Mark in the ladies' man stakes.

Meanwhile, Joey Essex's best mate, 20-year-old James Bennewith, is another new face to be appearing in the upcoming fourth series of 'TOWIE'.

He said: "I know I'm not the best-looking lad but if I had Joey's looks with my chat, I'd be unstoppable."

Georgina Dorsett - who is a close friend of The Saturdays' Rochelle Wiseman - will also be integrated into the show, despite her not knowing any of the current cast members.

An insider recently said of the brunette beauty: "Property developer Georgina Dorsett really impressed producers and will become one of the main characters in the new series. She is like a female Mark Wright.

"Girls really like her and she is a tough old cookie who doesn't take any nonsense."

Elsewhere, it is thought Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow - who appeared in minor roles in the third series of 'TOWIE' - will make a bigger impact in the fourth season of the show.

Bosses are hoping the new cast members will keep the show "fresh" and make the current stars - including the likes of Lauren Goodger, Sam Faiers and Lucy Mecklenburgh - "up their game".

A source has previously explained: "Producers have always said they want to keep the show fresh. That means bringing in new characters and looking at established cast who have new directions in their lives. These new cast members will really shake the show up and give it a new edge.

"This means the current cast can't be complacent and have to up their game to compete with them.

Nobody's place in the show is guaranteed."
