Tom Daley is being sought to host 'Celebrity Splash'.
The Olympic bronze medallist is in the frame to co-host the ITV show, where celebrities will learn how to perform diving routines.
Contestants will be trained by professionals to do increasingly more difficult routines week by week including backflips and somersaults.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "It's going to be a hilarious show which will have it all - humour, hunks in trunks and gorgeous girls.
"We are counting on this to be a big banker for next year. Everybody loved Tom at the Olympics, and this could be the perfect vehicle for him.
"We hope it could be as big as 'Total Wipeout'."
The format is already huge in Holland - where it is called Sterren Springen - and rights to the show have also been sold to the US, Australia and France.
Tom is said to be keen to break into TV, and was reported to be appearing on a special Olympic Week of singing contest 'The X Factor' as a mentor, alongside other Olympians Jessica Ennis and Mo Farrah.
