Coronation Street's Tracy Barlow and Rob Donovan will cause "mayhem" in a new relationship.
The murdering mother-of-one - who is played by Kate Ford - and the violent factory boss (Mark Baylis) will cause chaos when they start dating next year after she dumps Michelle Connor's son Ryan Connor (Sol Heras) after he proposes when she lied to him about being pregnant with his baby.
A source said: "It's a truly toxic relationship. There is a genuine attraction there but each is out for what they can get and they are completely self-obsessed.
"This relationship will cause maximum mayhem. They've both got a chequered past but this could be the most destructive relationship yet for both of them.
"Everyone knows about Tracy's past but Rob likes danger."
Tracy will also see her new relationship as a great way to get back at Michelle (Kym Marsh), who is dating her ex-husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
A source added to The Sun newspaper: "Tracy and Rob are a match made in soap heaven.
"They will be fiery, passionate and out to cause trouble.
"Rob is still hooked on his co-worker Michelle and Tracy is still in love with Steve so as well as being attracted to each other, Tracy and Rob see this as a way to rock Steve and Michelle's boat."
