Hi there! I’m looking for some advice. Last night while sexting with my partner I fell asleep without realising!
She called me and that woke me up but she’s angry that I fell asleep.
She says I don’t care about her or I’m not attracted to her enough.
I’ve been up pretty much all night because of how bad I was feeling.
What do I do? Thank you.

Of course, I can see why she was offended but I am sure you were incredibly apologetic when she woke you up and the fact that you are still worrying about it now shows just how sensitive you are. I really think your partner needs to cut you a little slack. We all make little mistakes and offend people unintentionally and this is what has happened here.
“You do sound like a bit of a worrier and I am sure that this is not the only issue that has caused you stress recently. You say that you have been ‘up pretty much all night because of how bad I was feeling’ - that is more disruption to your sleep and the possibility of you dropping off again at an inopportune moment!
“There is so much to like about your relationship with your girlfriend. I love the fact that you are sexting when you are apart to keep the flames glowing. It is a wonderful way for a couple to keep the lines of communication going when they cannot be together.
“Explain to your girlfriend again (because I am sure you have done it already) that you are very sorry and it won’t happen again. And next time you start sexting her have a can of Red Bull before you get going so that you are super alert throughout!
“Please try to worry a little less. We all make mistakes and we all sometimes upset the people we love. Good people learn from their mistakes and don’t make them a second time and you strike me as a very good person.”
